Rock Spring Church started small. Twelve neighbors, one borrowed living room, a pot of coffee, and a quiet conviction that God was about to do something. For 23 years under the leadership of Founding Pastor Michael W. Tucker, Med, PhD, we have remained faithful to that same calling, now gathering together in Apple Valley as a growing community committed to becoming who God created us to be.
Pastor Michael W. Tucker founded Rock Spring Church with a conviction: that faith thrives when lived in the everyday spaces of a neighborhood. What began as a gathering of believers committed to knowing and serving Apple Valley has grown into a community where becoming more like Christ happens together-in homes, at Bible study, and on Sunday mornings.
Over 23 years, that foundation has held steady. The specifics have changed-worship spaces, group sizes, how we connect week to week. But the core calling remains: to be a church that genuinely loves this place and the people in it. Not a performance, but a practice. Not a stage, but a story lived out in real relationships and real time.
Today, Rock gathers on Sunday mornings at 9:30, Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM, and Thursday evenings for Bible study at 6:15 PM. Each gathering reflects the same hope that started it all: that when a community turns toward Jesus and toward each other, transformation becomes possible.
Rock Spring Church's journey reflects God's faithfulness over more than two decades. Under the vision of Founding Pastor Michael W. Tucker, Med, PhD, we've grown roots deep in Apple Valley and continue to become what God is calling us to be.
Since Michael W. Tucker planted Rock Spring Church in Apple Valley, our foundation has remained constant. The community has grown. Our gathering spaces have evolved. But the core commitments that shaped our first meetings still guide everything we do today.
