Walking through the doors of a new church can feel uncertain. We understand. Here's what you need to know before you visit, so you can arrive ready to connect and experience what God is doing in our community.

Five things to know before your first visit

No pressure, no dress code, and no cold stares

Here is what a typical Sunday morning actually looks like at Rock Spring Church. We tried to answer the questions people ask us most often before they walk in for the first time. If anything is missing, just send us a note and we will fill in the blanks.

Service times and address

Join us Sundays at 9:30 AM or Saturdays at 10:00 AM, plus Thursday Bible Study at 6:15 PM. We're located in Apple Valley, CA. Come early to connect with our community.

What to wear

Whatever makes you comfortable. Some people come in jeans, some in button-downs, some in their Sunday best. Come as you are. Rock Spring is a welcoming community.

Join us Sundays at 9:30 AM, Saturdays at 10:00 AM, or Thursday Bible Study at 6:15 PM in Apple Valley, CA. Our team is here to welcome you and answer any questions when you arrive.

Kids check-in

Rock Spring Kids runs during our Sunday 9:30 AM and Saturday 10:00 AM services for ages zero through fifth grade. Our team will walk you through our simple, secure check-in the first time. Parents always receive a pager.

What to expect

About seventy-five minutes. A few songs, a welcome, a teaching from the Bible, a prayer, and a final song. Nobody will single you out as a guest. You can blend in as much as you want.

Your first visit

Walk through it with us ahead of time

Step 01

Arrive and park

Pull into the lot in Apple Valley. A volunteer in an orange vest will point you to guest parking and wave you toward the front doors.

Step 02

Grab coffee and settle in

Coffee and pastries are in the lobby. Bring your kids-our team will handle secure check-in and get them comfortable while you prepare to worship.

Step 03

Find a seat anywhere

No reserved seats, no assigned rows. Sit wherever feels right. If you prefer a quieter spot, the back corners are always open.

Step 04

Experience community at your own pace

After service ends, you're welcome to linger for conversation and coffee, or head out whenever you're ready. There's no pressure here-we're just glad you came.

A genuine greeting from someone at the door who cares you're here.
Contemporary worship you can engage with at your own pace.
A practical message from Scripture, roughly thirty minutes long.
Secure, staffed childcare so you can worship with peace of mind.
A time of prayer-participate however feels right for you.

What we will not do

Put you on the spot or ask you to identify yourself publicly.
Expect or pressure you to contribute financially.
Push you to join a group or sign anything your first visit.
Make assumptions about how you should dress or look.
Dismiss your doubts or difficult questions.

Totally optional, but if you fill out our short guest form we will have a quick welcome kit waiting at the door, and one of our team will say hi by name when you arrive.
